Yes, I am a foodie. But I am also in the PR world where social media and marketing are key. So, naturally, when I saw this video about a New York City restaurant capitalizing on the marketing prowess of Instagram, my interest piqued.
Cómodo, a Latin restaurant in Manhattan, is intriguing
foodies diners everywhere with what they’re calling “The Instagram Menu.” It’s genius, really. Nestled at the bottom of the restaurant’s menu are the words “#ComodoMenu on Instagram.” Guests are encouraged to take pictures of their food and post them on Instagram with the hashtag #ComodoMenu. The idea is that guests who can’t decide what to eat, or simply want to browse through a more visual menu, will search #ComodoMenu and filter (see what I did there?) through the dining options that their fellow diners have so nicely uploaded for them.
